DJEMBE DRUMMING
Andrew owns over 30 djembe drums which he uses to run tailor-made drumming sessions for a wide range of clients from schools to companies looking for distinctive corporate training events. Originating in West Africa, Djembe drums are particularly accessible instruments because it is possible for groups with a range of abilities to play together, and as they are hand-drums there is no need for sticks (or ear plugs!)
Examples of workshops include: The Commonwealth Games, Inspirations Festival (children); Africa In Motion, (family); sessions for Girl Guides & the Woodcraft Folk, a Children’s Cabaret at the Tron Theatre with Giant Productions; and a corporate event at the Royal Mail Sorting Office, Glasgow.
